Bike Lane
First off it's Monday and I don't have patience for STUPID people, and heres one good reason why. There is a good reason why the city creates bike lanes, and "why" you might ask? So they can be used , and the drivers can go about there business whithout worrying about the bikers. Well apparently theres an entirely diff. set of rules for old people on bikes. On my way back to the office today after lunch, I "attempted" to pull into the right hand turn lane, with the bike lane now on my left (are you with me here)? As I'm attempting to move toward the street I would like to turn on, this old man biker decides that he is also going to use my turn lane as a place to ride. And in the mean time glance back to confirm that YES I am in MY lane, and NO he's not in his lane. Oh yeah I forgot to mention....he's not riding his bike fast, I think he was out for an afternoon stroll. My frustration level is rising if you hadn't noticed already. So I'm thinking to myself, ok maybe he's making a right hand turn and thats why he's here.....NEGATIVE....hes staying on the straight and narrow path. So now I've reached the street to turn right, he cuts over to the crosswalk and cuts a bunch of cars off, not even giving the cars a second look. I glanced over at the crosswalk signal to see if he was in the right of way to cross.....BIG RED FLASHING HAND tells me NO......BIG RED FLASHING HAND tells him, sure come on over, don't worry the traffic will stop for you anytime.

Well if you just run him over then he'll definitely learn his lesson . . . and chances are, he won't soon do it again!
50 points if his helmet stays on!!
Oh he had the whole "pro-bike" get up...it just wasn't workin' for the old guy. Not a pretty picture.... I'm trying to remember if he even had a helmet on....
