Youth Camp 2005...

has officially come to a crashing hult. Well not really a crashing hult, but there were for sure some "bumps" and "crashes" along the way....

- Two boys getting ducktaped to a tree
- A broken window within 2 hours of being at the camp
- A Funeral
- A boy getting "attacked" by a girl- Shaving Cream in a campers bag with the zipper then super glued shut

The list seems to go on and on....

New this year (at least for me) was a trap set and electric guitars. Seamed to be a welcome thing among the campers as well as staff members. Although I will say that I did miss all the Sunday School Songs that we used to sing.

What happened to our Sunday School/Youth Camp Songs...

Yah, Youth Camp was cool this year, minus the usual obligatory idiot stuff.

Well, the Sunday School songs got old. I mean, they sing them all the time. I am glad Ken and Kevin introduced new stuff. Keep the skulls full of mush interested.

Peace out my blonde..err...brunette....err...

What color is your hair these days anyway?

I like the Sunday School songs. I also like the new stuff. Can't we all just get along?

Hey don't get me wrong I love the Worship songs as well as the SS songs, but I just think this year was focused more on the worship songs instead of a mixture of both.

And my hair is brown w/ blonde highlights. Look at the picture of from girls night out...

Exactly what I was trying to say. I think a good mix of the two is a great thing. Our kids get all "praise and worshippy" and they forget that sometimes they can just have fun singing "Big House!"

Or what about Hip-Hip-Hip-Hipopotumus....or... Spring up oh well...or....Due Lord....or...Arkey Arkey...

The list just goes on and on.

The hippo song is sung occasionally during Sunday School in Tacoma. Feel free to visit and we'll let you pick *all* the Sunday School songs. You might even get (hee hee) to lead them!

What about you visiting here? Been a while since we saw you down here.

What a perfect time to bring up Special Meetings. Did you know we're having them next month? If you were not aware of that, it's the weekend of Sept. 23, 24, 25. We'd love to have you down!

I believe my extended family (e.g. Kimberly) has made a substantial contribution to the "Visit Sacramento" coffers. It's time to return the favor and drag everyone up here.

Youth Sunday is this weekend! Come on, be impulsive and young!

ROAD TRIP!!!
