Can someone please tell me why over half of the population here in Sacramento is wearing Shorts and flip flops in the middle of March? I mean I know its 80 degrees here today, but.....oh wait that causes me to ask another question, why on EARTH is it 80 degrees in March? Has mother nature not ever heard of rain and cold weather? What is going on here? As it is I'm not a summer person (I don't like the high heat temps.), so when mother nature is throwing 80 degree weather at me in March it makes me a little on the cranky side. Granted I love seeing the sun, but I'm pretty sure I can see the sun when it's cold outside too!
Am I the only one suffering here from Cold Weather with drawls?

Um...pretty sure you're alone on this one. I am so excited for the sun...and I think I mentioned it on my blog the other day.
As for the wearing shorts and flip flops....I hope you didn't refrain just because you are having cold-weather withdrawals...

Yes, but you can enjoy the sun in the cooler weather also....and still get to wear all the cute "warm" clothes.
I will say though I did buy my first pair of shorts for the summer season. I'll put in a little plug for Target...they've got some ADORABLE shorts this season. And the plus side to them, they are the AF length! I love it = ) I think I'm gonna go back and get another pair...or three...or four....
Oh brother!! Complain, complain, complain. Our mother did not raise us up to complain about everything! So yeah, you are the only one. We have typical Southern Oregon weather. . . it's looking really nice out but still in the 60's. But by this weekend it is supposed to be in the 70's. YAY!!
See my point exactly, I would love to have beautiful sunny weather with it only 60! Because it's March at that is what it's supposed to be like....not 80!

In other news, the warmest it has been here so far this month is MAYBE 55 degrees. We did have one freakishly warm day last week where it actually hit 70, but that was an anomaly. I'm sure of it. Especially considering that it had been snowing less than a week before that day. If you want colder weather, Seattle is definitely the place to move!! (hint hint hint!!)
80 huh? Ours are mid to high and yeah ... I wouldn't mind some colder weather right about now. It's still winter ... spring doesn't kick in for another week or so. Then again, like Christianne says, we have our "not so hot summer" (spring), "hot summer" (summer), "Indian summer" (fall), and I forgot what she said for winter ... probably "cooler summer"
Okay, so it's cooled down a little bit. But it was crazy hot sunday and monday ...
Guess what I did today. . . I wore shorts!! Ha!
I believe that shorts have a crotch, therefore regardless of length, they are forbidden. If they don't have a crotch, it must be a skirt - or it's definitely forbidden.

Well, I'm in DC right now and it's like in the 30's to 40's and girls are wearing shorts and flipflops here! Crazy, huh?
